VA In 1758, Henry Blagrave was a candidate for the House of BurgessesfromLunenburg Co. Clement Read and Matthew Marrable were elected.HenryBlagrave contested the election and in a re election held in1761 waselected to the seat of Marrable. Henry served continuouslyas a memberuntil 1769. He was a member of the county court of Lunenburg Co from 1764 to 1776. He was the sheriff of Lunenburg Co. rfom 1764 to 1776. He was a Vestryman of Cumberland Parish from 1757 to 1768.
