1). Nickname NICK Tex, O.W.L. He prefered the nickname OWL he thought it was fun ny. He lovedtelling stories and jokes. He did many jobs but retired as a millcarpenter in 1974. He was a gifted string instrument musician whoplayed by ear , with the Old TimeFiddlers, usualy the mandolin orfiddle, sometimes banjo or guitar. He owned many instruments whichwere donated to charities, however his fathers fiddle is with hisgrandson, Philip Looper. He loved hot spicey food u sing hot sauce onalmost everything heate and he loved playing cribbage with h is sonsand grandsons. In his younger days he loved outdoor woodsman sports,hu nting, fishing, and camping with his wife and decendants.
2).  Otha always said he fell in love with her big eyes.  Thalia & Otha moved to O regon.
