Davis are bounduntoI.H. Philpot, Ordinary in sum of $4,000. Amanda M. McAdamsguardian ofThomas O. Jameson, Sarah A. R. Jameson, John C.Jamesonminors under 21years. Amanda M. McAdams their mother. Entitled toshare of estate ofCarroll Jameson, deceased. In 1877, Sarah A. R. had married an Orr. Barbara Eade s note TheJames Orr mentioned above was undoubtedly Amanda s brother.
2).  From the Obituary in Pickens Sentinel dated April 15, 1915.  Died  Mrs Amanda Jameson McAdams died Sunday, April 11, at the homeofher son, Tom O. Jameson, near Easley, and was buried in theJamesonburying ground.  She was in her 80th year.  Her maiden name wasAmandaOrr and she was twice married.  Her first husband was   Carrol  Jamesonand two sons survive this marriage, Tom O. of this county andJohn C.of the West.  Her second husband was Mr. McAdams and by him twosonssurvive, George McAdams of Texas and Mason B. McAdams of Oklahoma.
