Merry show she was divorced at the time of her death in 1951. The Wichita social register for 1921 shows Kent Merry as a member of the Rotary Club and the Wichita Club. The 1900 census for Sedgwick county Wichita shows his name as Kent E. Merry, living at home with his parents, Charles and Pelna E. Merry, and sister, Helen. After his divorce from Mayme, he apparently re married, as indicated in a death notice in The Wichita Eagle, November 14, 1964 Ex Industrialist Kent Merry Dies The founder and former president of Interlocking Cement Stave Silo Co., Ke Merry, died Sunday in Tampa, Florida. Mr. Merry established the company here and sold it in 1937 to B. M. Radcliff, who later sold it to Dodson Mfg., Co. H had lived in Tampa since selling the firm, and is survived by his wife, Edith, 4811 N. Armenia, Tampa.

MERRY. Section F, Lot 35. Mayme s addressat the time of her death was 806 Buffam, Wichita. Cause of death was Cardiorenal Involvement kidney failure affecting the heart . The death certificate of Mayme was obtained from the KS State Board of Health on 7 21 98. It shows that she was divorced from E. Kent Merry at the time of her death. Her address was 806 Buffam, Wichita, KS. The informant for the death certificate was Mrs. Emily E. Alspaugh, and I m still trying to figur out that family group. Kent Merry at the time of her death. Her address was 806 Buffam, Wichita, KS. The informant for the death certificate was Mrs. Emily E. Alspaugh, her sister. Short obituary from the Wichita Eagle in files. A photo of the Buffam address, as it appear in 1999, is in the main album, provided by John Schunk of the Midwest Historica and Genealogical Society. An obituary for Kent Merry was obtained at the Midwest Historical and Genealogical Society in Wichita in May, 2000. It shows that he re married afte the divorce, and died in Tampa, FL, in 1964.
