1). 18401.ged Genealogy of the Palmer Trimble Families, Page 703 He was a farmer, and resided in the vicinity of Lionville, Chester County, PA. After the death of Jane bet 1794 and 1804 he married his second wife, Hannah Martin. 2).  18401.ged  Jane Downing, eldest daughter of Thomas, was born on July 27, 1761.  Her sister, Mary Downing, the next born in that family, was born on October 14, 1763.  Three sources, including the  History of Chester County , 1881, confirm that these two sisters diedon the same date, June 20, 1813.  Jane was 51 years old  Mary, 49.  Both deaths occurred in West Chester, Chester County, Pennsylvania.  Research has failed to show any widespread disaster in Chester County on that date.  The intreguing question remains   What did these two middle aged sisters die of on the same date?  Fire?  Drowning? Coincidence?
