Elijah Cottingham s will, dated 12 Feb 1823 I , E l i j ah Cottingham of Hamilton County, being of soun d memo r y a n d understanding, do make and publish this m y last w il l a n d testament. First, I desire that all my just debts shall be paid. 2. I give and bequeath to my daughters Nancy a n d M a r y and my son John the sum of one hundred and fif t y doll a r s each to be paid by my Executor. 3. I give and bequeath to my son John my silver watch. 4. I give and bequeath to my son William th e s u m o f t wo hundred dollars to be paid him by my Execu tor. 5.
