NOTES
2). Downing.ged On August 1, 1999, I received a telephone call from Twila, now Blankenship. She lives at 3940 Green Forest Parkway, Smyrna, GA, 30082. Phone number 770 434 3228. She had been in Kansas seeking information on her great great grandfather, J.C. Redfield, and the family, and had touched base with Beverly Miller in Humboldt, who provided my name and phone number. Blessed be that phone call! Subsequent exchange of information has led to th data on the descendents of Flora G. Redfield and Allen Wood down to the present Further data has been exchanged, and a warm cousinship has happil been re established. A copy of this book was made and mailed to her on August 12, 1999. Subsequently, we made arrangements to meet in Humboldt, Kansas, in May, 2000. Twilagave me the copies of the photos of her ancestors which have been placed in the album, and a fine picnic lunch, on a beautiful spring day, next to the bandstand in the town square topped off a perfect trip.
