They came here in tha t year . Fo r 3 0 year sMr. Gordon was a milk and cream bu yer fo r th e Cott age Cre amery Co., traveling in Northwes tern Oh io. H e die d in 1940 , five years after he had ret ired. Mrs. Gordon was born 80 years ago in Streetsboro, wh e r e h e r ancestors, Wilcox, Driver sic , Combs, and Pac ke r , we r e among the first settlers there in the first q uar te r o f th e 19th century. For more than 40 years of h er r esi denc e her e Mrs. Gordon was a member of Brookly n Memor ia l Metho dist C hurch and was active in all ofit s women s o rganizat ions. Surviving her, besides her daughter, are two grandchil d r e n , four brothers and a sister, Miss Julia Wilcox , a re ti r e d teacher in the Cleveland public schools. Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the chapel o f Cr o w n Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.
