IN Birth of Owen SCOTT given in Apple as 17?? by Robert A Spurgeon Birth of Owen SCOTT given as 1780 in Scott Family History, by Walter Scott in Frankfort Library, Frankfort IN Death Jan 02 1865 in VSP1P1 This is the one used Death Jan 16 1865 in Scott Family History, by Walter Scott in Frankfort Library, Frankfort IN was ignored. this is date will was probated per same source He migrated to Hamilton Co. OH, perhaps during the panic of 1819. Whitewater Twp. ? and from here to Rush Co. IN. He entered land from the government in 1821 and 1823 in Anderson Twp. Rush Co. and later in Richland Twp. His will was probated Jan 16, 1865 in Rush Co. and a copy can be found in the Rush Co. Clerk office. His burial place is unknown at the present, but it seems likely to the writer that he is buried in the Pleasant Run Cemetery, three miles north of Richland.He was married twice, the first wife Mary, died Sept 19, 1834. ... His second wife was Kissah sic Earlywine. They were married July 7, 1835. He was said to be a man of rather large stature, resembling his son, Isaac in stature and facial features. In his later years he made several trips to Clinton Co. IN visiting his sons and taking treatments for cataracts of the eye in Indianapolis.
