National Cigar Co. deaths Mable Mdine Lewis Mable Aldine Lewis, 88, Frankfort rt. 3, died at 1 51 p.m. Sept. 9,1987, in Clinton County Hospital. Mrs. Lewis was a member of Country Chapel Church of God. She had worked at the Kempton Canning Factory, U.S. Hame Co. and National Cigar Co. She was born Aug. 26, 1899, in Clinton County to William and Myrtle Blystone Strawn. She married Sam Lewis on July 6, 1918, and he died July 22, 1986. Surviving are a son, Sam Jr. of Kokomo three daughters, Lena Clidence of Chesterfield, Reba Joyce of Satellite Beach, Fla., and Maxine Weaver of Michigan town 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Services will be at 3 30 p.m. Friday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Kevin Dem mitt officiating. Burial will be in Whitman Cemetery. Friends may call 4 8 p.m. Thursday.
