1). bobspu.ged The family seems to have migrated from Mongalia Co., Virginia to Bourbon Co., Kentucky in the late 1970 s or early 1780 s. This Richard Morris is probably the same one one who organized frontier settlements in MD PA VA border area to build a stockade at Morris s Fort at the beginning of the Revolution.
