1). bobspu.ged The book History of Northeast Ohio says that he came to Trumbull Co in 1806. He and his father Arthur Van Wye lived in Howland Twp, Charles on Lot 38 in 1824, and between 1825 and 1826, he moved to 100 acres on Lot 16 of Weathersfield Twp. His sister married Joseph Earl in 1823, and Joseph lived in Weathersfield in 1830, and had land near Charles in the 1840 and 1850 land maps. Source James Hannum, M. D. May 1999
