NOTES
1). The 1900 Census reported that Asa W. was born April 1872 in KY, his wife was Anna born in KY in May 1870.
2). Leip.ged In the 1870 Census she is listed as Magdaline and 2 months old, born in May in KY. In the 1880 Census she is listed as Anna and 10 years of age. Sister told WD in 1995 that Anna married a Binford. However, it was probably Jones. Actually it was both, I learned later. Anyhow Sister said that Lonnie was one of Anna s three sons. Anna gave Lonnie to Nora, Jimmy Morrow s sister, who had no children. Nora and her husband raised Lonnie as their own. They left their place to Lonnie and later the Morrow s sued 1939 or 1940 claiming that as the surviving blood relatives they should have inherited it. The Morrows won and Sister has always felt it was wrong.
