1). Thomas retired from the Air Force after twenty one years service and moved to MacKay, Queensland, Australia. He later returned to the United States. During World War II, he served in the Pacific with nearly three years in New Guinea and Australia. He isa 32nd Degree Mason in York Rite. Miami Herald Miami, Dade, FL newspaper 22 May 1995, obituary Thomas C., 77 of Davie, previously of Hywd. and Miami, passed away May 20, 1995. So. Fla. resident since 1924. Beloved father of Judith Tideman of Davie, Larry Murphy of Vero Beach, and twin daughters Patricia Ambrey and Pamela Thorn of Queensland, Australia, father in law of Reg, Alan and Brian beloved grandfather of Reggie, Troy, Wade, Clint, Grant, Tammy, Shane, Toni and Meredith, great grandfather of Brenton. Survived by sisters JoyceMcKinnon of Hywd., Vivian Bobbitt of Opa Locka, brothers in law James Bobbitt and Kenneth Wood. A Veteran, retired U.S.A.F., served in WW II in the Pacific. Service on Tues. May 23rd, 11 AM, Van Orsdel Funeral Chapel, 14990 W. Dixie Hwy., No. Miami,followed by interment in Southern Memorial Park.
