On both sides of the north fork of Clinch River beginning in the Red Oak Bent Grants No. 47, p. 186 Jeremiah Claypole 16 Sept 1800 Russell County 27 a. On the south side of the north fork of Clinch River beginning on the top of Kents Ridge Grants No. 47, p. 190 Jeremiah Claypool 19 Nov 1802 Tazewell County 50 a. On the branches of Clinch River adjoining his own land and a survey of Jos. Meridy s Grants No. 50, p. 311 Jeremiah Claypole 22 Aug 1821 and Robert Soiterridge Shortridge? Tazewell County 58 a. On the Town Hill creek a branch of Clinch River, beginning & c. a corner of James Fowler Grants No. 70, p. 322 Jeremiah Claypool 20 Jul 1825 Tazewell County 30 a. On the waters of Clinch River Grants No. 74, p. 189 JEREMIAH CLAYPOOL. Will probated December, 1846. Will Book No. 2, p. 361. Devises his property as follows To his oldest son, Miles, to his wife, Charity. Mentions his grand children Amanda Asburry and Eli C. Asburry to his daughter, Elizabeth McGuire. He then mentions Ephriam Claypool and James Claypool your brothers toassist in the division of the estate, then to James Claypool, Senr. brother of testator. Testator then says Jeremiah B. Claypool shall have the lot where I live... Vol. I, p. 282.
