1). bobspu.ged Ref Frankfort Times, Frankfort, IN, 28 May 1942, pg. 10 James M. Orr Dies at Hospital James M. Orr, 73, former Forest and Johnson township teacher, and later an oil field worker, died at the Clinton county hospital at 2 p.m. yesterday. He had beenill for more than 15 years and had been a patient in the hospital for two weeks. Born near Scircleville December 7, 1868, he was the son of Curran and Sarah Scircle Orr. Graduating from Scircleville high school he attended Central Normal College at Danville in preparation for the teaching profession. After serving in the Forest andJohnson township schools he resigned and became active in the oil fields near Los Angeles. In 1895, he was married to Eva Conner, who died in 1907. Surviving are a son, Dudley Orr, Akron, OH, a sister, Mrs. Asa Crail, residing north of Kempton and several nieces and nephews. The body will be removed from the Aughe & Son funeral home to the home of the sister, where friends may call after 3 p.m. today. Services will be held at the West Point Christian church at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Fenton Messenger as the officiating minister. Burial will be in the St. Paul cemetery near Scircleville.
