1). bobspu.ged J. W. Brammell TAKEN BY DEATH Native of Miciigan Twp. Spent Prectically Entire Life in County John William Brammrll, 79, a resident of Clinton Vounty practically all of his life, died at the family home on North Street, west of the Ingram Richardson plant at 6 45 o clock Tuesday afternoon following an illness of several days. He suffered a strokeof paralysis Sunday and little hope had been held for his recovery since that time. Funeral services will be held from the Chuech of God at 2 3o o clock Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. J. H. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Plummer Cemetery. The body will be removed from the Aughe and son mortuary to the family home where friends may call after 7 o clock this evening. Mr. Brammell was born near Boyleston, Jan. 18, 1856, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Brammell. He married Sarah Stuart in 1879. She preceeded him in death only a few months. He was a member of the Church of God of Hillisburg. Three darghters, Mrs. Naomia Hampton and Mrs. Ina Elsie Finney of Frankfort, and Mrs. Sarah Williams of Gadbrook, Iowa one sister, Mrs. Sarah Ann Palmer of Hillisburg and two half sisters, Mrs, John Higgenbotham of Indianapolis and Mrs. Elmer Strawn ofFrankfort, 23 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren survive him. Mr Brammell was widely known throughout the county. Save for fice years residence in Iowa, he had lived in and near Frankfort all his life. Taken from The Frankfort Morning Times
2).  bobspu.ged  Mrs. Sally Brammell Taken by Death  Mrs. Sally Ann Brammell, 85, wife of William Brammell, a resident of Clinton County since 1879 died at the family home on Jefferson Road at 1 45 o  clock Monday afternoon following a long illness.  She had been bedfast for the last three weeks.  Funeral services will be held at 2 30 o  clock this afternoon from the Church of Gog with William N. Huffer officiating.  Burial will be at the Plummer Cemetery.  Mrs. Brammell, a resident of Michigan Twp. for many years was highly respected by all who know her.  She lived near Boyleston and Hillisburg for many years before moving west of Frankfort about four years ago.  Mr. Brammell retired from farming about 6 years ago.  She was born in Rush Co. Oct 13 1848, a daughter of William and Sarah Stuart.  She was married to Mr. Brammell in 1879.  A member of the Church of God, she took an active part in church affairs until her recent illness.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John Hampton of Frankfort  Mrs. Albert Finney, also of Frankfort  and Mrs. J. W. Williams of Gladbrook, Iowa.
