Crest On a wreath, a lion rampant, Sable, holding a ducal coronet between his paws, Or Arms Party per fess, Azure and Or, a pale, and three roebucks head raised, counterchanged. Supporters On the dexter side, a buck, Or, on the sinister, a tiger reguardant, Argent Motto Spes mea in Deo Chief Seat At Linsted Lodge, in the Co. of Kent. Place built lodge at Linsted, the seat of the family, with a park around it. Service was the first man of note to proclaim the King in Kent Co. Will 21 nov 1616, proved 4 Dec 1619
