Jeremiah Glenn and WilliamTucker were Land Commissioners in 1782. Jeremiah Glenn, Col. John Glenn , Richard Ingram as clerk datedApril15, 1784 were appointed by the Parish to settle a land linedisputebetwenn the Moon family and the Harris family and John Clark. Thisdispute had bid fair to split the congregation of the churchact. Jeremiah Glenn Why I have heard grandfather Gideon Moon tell manyatime of his grandfather, old man Jerry Glenn, of how he gotmarriedbefore he was 14 years old. When he brought his bride home,his papieand his mamie, told him to go sleep with his brothers Billand Johnand told his wife to go sleep in the room with Sallie and Ann,theyboth being so young.
