2). My sister and I have been close over the years. I h a v e f o nd memories of our childhood. I remember one ti m e th at s h e asked me to make a black baby for her . O ur fathe r use d to paint and we therefore h ad a goo d suppl y. We we re pun ished by having to scru b off the a rtwork. I remember when Judy was a young child, her getti n g h i t b y a car. She was nt seriously injured thankfull y . T h e wom an who drove the car was panicked! I also r em embe r J udy ge tting a minor case of polio that tempora ril y par alyz ed her .I remember her crying as she was b ein g place d i n an ambu lance. Like all teenagers, we had awkward years growing u p w h i c h were not made easier by our home life. I remem be r ma ki n g faces at her from my bedroom window as a dat e t rie d t o ki ss her and how she couldn t help but laugh. Judy has had a tough time of it emotionally. Sh e w a s t h e mother to our smaller sisters. She virtual ly r ai se d th em by herself when she was still a child he rself. My sister was and is a beautiful woman. She loo k e d a l o t like Elizabeth Taylor when both were young . S h e had n o s hortage of boyfriends! She and my mothe r nev e r got alo ng w ell. They were estranged when our m othe r di ed. Jud y kep t her distance from mother becaus e sh e fel t so emotio nall y vunerable. Judy first married Vincent Hardeman and later, Dale La w r e n ce. I like both of the men she married. Judy ha s a b ea ut if ul family that has gone through trials and t ribula tio ns . A t this writing, Judy she likes to spel l her na me Jud i is receiving Social Security disabil ity payme nts f or s houlde r and other problems.
