After retiring from IBM in 1987, Bill served in manag e m e n t positions with West Lumber Company, HBO & Compan y , a n d Nt h Degree, all in Atlanta, responsible for a va ri et y o f corp orate functions, always including informat io n sy stem s. He r etired for the last time in May 1997. Bill served in many civic & professional capacities . T h e s e included Sigma Chi social fraternity and Elde r in N or th we st Presbyterian Church, Atlanta.
