2). BIRTH Date from family tree of Lela Strahm Claypole was Sept. 1, 1860. Census records seem to indicate 1861, however. Then there is a letter back to Mrs Milo Claypole from May 19, 1962 about an inquiry she made as to the information the Lamb Roberts Funeral Home had on Mrs. Hilda Claypole, who was married to Mr. A. C. Claypole. It has some new information for us and it further reads Date of Funeral Friday, May 2, 1941 Place of Death 7 miles Southwest of Homewood, Kansas, which was given as her residence or home Homewood is only a few miles from Ottawa Funeral Services at Methodist Church in Richmond, Missouri at 2 00 pm May 2, 1941 The certifying Physician was Dr. H. E. Markham now deceased Cause of Death Heart Trouble Date of Death April 29, 1841 Occupation of deceased Housewife Age 80 years, 7 months, and 28 days at her death Birth Place Grundy County, Missouri Father s Name Benjamin Ishmael and he was born at Linden , Mo. this disagrees with our prior info Maiden Name of her mother Millie Martin and she was born in Trenton, Missouri this disagrees with our prior info Name of Husband was A. C. Claypole Mrs. Hilda Claypole was buried at Sunny Slope Cemetery in Richmond, Missouri May 2, 1941 This is the complete information we have in our files and we hope it answers your questions.
