1). Born in Ireland. Moved to Dublin, New Hampshire in 1760 and remained there for 5 years before returning to family homestead. William was also prominent in Peterborough, being chosen Selectman 1776 1779. While occupying this office, he managed to serve two short stints in the army. Taggart Family News, February 1990, Vol. IX, p. 12 Also recorded as sealed to parents on 31 Mar 1943 in the Arizona Temple. Also known as MCNEE. History of Peterboro, New Hampshire pages 2 & 212.
