He was the son of the late Oak Festus and Nellie Church Norman. He was a construction worke r and a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and VFW Post 5959. Surviving are nine sons, Timothy D. Norman, Dennis L. Norman and Kenneth G. Norman, all of Gr antsville, Everett Dorsie Norman of Huntington, Randall A. Norman of South Charleston, Everet t Steve Norman of Letart, Oakie Dewayne Norman of Big Bend, DonaldLee Norman of Trace Fork a nd Richard Norman of West Salem, Ohio two daughters, Ola L. Mowrey of Creston and Sherry Sme ltzer of Miamisburg, Ohio four sisters, Virginia Fielding of Baltimore, Md., Virgie Yoak an d Betty Bennett, both of Akron, Ohio, andThelma Stutler of Paden City 25 grandchildren, Dan iel Norman, Andrew Norman, Joshua Norman, Brandi Richards, Ashley Knight, Alex Norman, Brad y Norman, Jessica Norman, Stephanie Smeltzer, Anddrew Smeltzer, Natasha Norman, Dawn Norman , Sara Jones, Richard Dewayne Norman, Lucas Norman, Nina Norman, Beverly Keel, Trisha Norman , Jonathan Norman, Jennifer Norman, Robert Norman, Tonya Norman, Debra Goodwin, Brannen Jone s and Vanessa Jones and eight great grandchildren. A lfred hickman officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Th ursday, 2 to 4 p.m., at the church.
